Notch Therapeutics is the first startup biotech to graduate from the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) in MaRS. They had funding in place, a green light to grow but could not find wet lab space available for lease in the market.
The LabOccupier team retained a space planner to conduct a Needs Analysis and the tenant’s requirement was determined to be 10,000 usable square feet. A market search was conducted and an off-market opportunity was identified that quickly became the leading candidate.
Notch Therapeutics was able to lease premises in their preferred location on a suitable time frame that was able to accommodate their office and lab space requirements.
